Bobby Reddy awarded J M Keynes Senior Fellowship in Financial EconomicsThe Faculty warmly welcomes the news that Professor Bobby Reddy was awarded a J M Keynes Senior Fellowship in Financial Economics earlier this year.

The holders of Fellowships are drawn from a wide range of experience and expertise, encompassing both researchers of exceptional promise and established scholars, creating an exciting and dynamic Fellowship. The purpose of the Fellowship is to further interdisciplinary research and study in the general area of financial economics, on the basis of a proposal approved by the Managers at the time of election.

Reflecting on his award, Professor Reddy said "I am very grateful to the J M Keynes fund managers for my appointment to the fellowship, which supports inter-disciplinary research across the field of financial economics. I look forward to working with my colleagues across Cambridge on my future research".

The award reflects the leading research that Professor Reddy is undertaking in topical corporate governance, private equity, and company law themes, including matters relating to the efficiency, operation and innovation of the capital markets, and the real-world impact of regulatory approaches and policies. Professor Reddy was recently cited by Reuters in relation to an analysis of Lyft’s earnings forecasting error (14 Feb 2024), and also by Bloomberg in relation to the possible IPO of Klarna (7 March 2024) (subscription required).
